I wish teh Interweebs would just shut up about Lindsey Lohan and LeBron James.
I. Don’t. Care.
Of course, some other celebrity will eventually have their own train wreck and take center stage. It never ends.
That is all I’ve got to say.

From the My House Is A Mess files…
It just occurred to me — while staring at my bathroom sink — that a really awesome baby shower gift would be arranging even a one-time service from Molly Maid (or the local moral equivalent in your town). I don’t know what the costs are, but having just the bathroom and kitchen scrubbed during the haze of post-baby-arrival sleep-deprivation would be worth much, much more than another package of receiving blankets or cute sleeper.
Then you could even pretend that cleaning fairies do exist! Wouldn’t that be fun?

…I must be nursing.
Sorry folks, “life” as we know it around here has ground to a halt with the arrival of Junior Peanut. You’ll have to excuse me (I’m not at my best!) while we get into a better routine around here. Will be back later — I promise!
Ciao!

Lovely is available TODAY, folks! So swing on by the Carina Press bookstore and check it out!
(Along with all the other cool books that CP has released, of course!)
Then, once you’ve bought it and read it, swing back on by and let me know what you think! I love reader feedback!
So…enjoy!
(Whoa…*way* too many exclamation points… Me, excited? Naaaah. Oh, and ps. no new baby yet.

…hooba habba habba heebady how…
(Apologies to Chumbawumba, but after the first time hearing the Bro sing it that way, that’s all I can think of.
)
Anyway. Yesterday was rough. I felt really crummy, but no real sign of movement from Junior Miss. Then I had a crummy night’s sleep. So today I am operating on sheer willpower. I have a short(ish) list of things to do, and I am going to get them all done, dammit, if it puts me into labour.
Heh.
So…I am off. I’ll keep ya posted. Be good, and if you can’t be good, don’t name it after me. *snicker* (Ah, exhausted pregnant lady humour…is there anything ridiculouser? *snort*)

This waiting thing sucks, folks.
I am still here, yes, still no new Offspring.
Ugh.
Less than a week until book launch, though!
I shoulda done a “birth day” pool as a contest. That would have been kinda fun, wot? A wee bit too late now, though.
Oh, well. Hindsight and all that…

The next round of Carina Press books has launched today, so go check ‘em out! (And this also means one more week until Lovely hits the virtual shelves, too! Whee! *happy dance*)
No real signs of Ms. Junior Peanut wanting to enter the world quite yet, so I’m still feeling rather bulky and cumbersome. Tomorrow I get to try acupuncture as a method of attempting to induce labour, so we’ll see what happens.
We had company for the weekend, and while it was very enjoyable (and filling — lots of yummy food!) it was also kinda tiring, so in a way, I’m very glad it’s Monday and the house is once again quiet.
The Offspring is going to be with the Mater and Pater Tues/Weds so methinks B.E. and I will go to the movies Tuesday night (with maybe a bite to eat beforehand, perhaps!). It’ll likely be our last opportunity for a “date” night for the next little while, so as long as I feel fine I think we will take advantage! (No idea yet what we’re going to see…certainly *won’t* be Sex and the City 2, that’s for sure….!
)
Anyhoo. Today’s all about puttering, working on edits for Higher Learning, and basically trying to take it easy (at least a little bit). That’s all the news that’s fit to print, folks!

I can be incredibly patient sometimes.
Apparently, this does not translate to waiting for Junior Peanut’s appearance in the world.
Oh, well. I’m a homebody today and have a couple of craft projects to finish, so I will get on those. Not to mention laundry and tidying and other random bits of whatever.
Also beginning edits on the officially-contracted Higher Learning, so this is a good thing, too.
I do realize that once the baby’s here, I’ll wonder at how I had all this “free” time beforehand. You just can’t win, can you??

Either I’m starting to have Baxton-Hicks contractions, or it’s really bad indigestion, but I’m betting the farm on the former. Yeah, I know, I’ve done this before, but with the Kidlet things went completely differently than this time around. So it almost feels like I’m doing this for the first time…! Yeesh…
Anyway. I will be around for as long as I can — if it really is B-H, it could still be a couple of weeks before the main event, so I’ve got to try to be patient.
In the meantime, I’m back to brainstorming in my head. Came up with another concept yesterday that combines a couple of random bits I’d thought of ages ago, but I’m not sure if they’re just too kinky and/or out there. And whether I can make my characters sympathetic enough. Tough call, frankly.
Anyway. We’ll see what happens.

Hey all –
The Carina Press bookstore is now live! Check it out, there are some great books available this week. And while Lovely isn’t available to get your paws on now, you can pre-order it – at a 20% discount! Suh-weet!
So seriously, go take a look-see at what CP has to offer — and fill up your eReader (whatever it is!) with some great stuff to take you through those lazy, hazy summer days in your hammock, frosty beverage in hand… Aah. Sounds absolutely perfect, don’t you think??
