Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution

I woke up this morning solidly convinced that I’d written an entire Blog entry that included several photos of the Offspring.

The content is hazy now, but it also had something to do with various Boy-related aspects of my private life. Must have been the chocolates that I indulged in before bed…

I’m somewhat glad I actually didn’t write and post what I thought I had. :D

Anyway. Seeing as how it’s the new year, and that the darned things tend to bring with them the inevitable resolutions (or revolutions — which I like more– as discovered on Donna Alward’s Blog), I thought I’d ask if any of you have decided to make changes in your lives.

After innumerable years of making lists of “Thou Shalts” and “Thou Shalt Nots”, I’ve decided that I’m not going to put that pressure on myself. I’d prefer to look at 2007 as a wide-open opportunity to take chances, to work on that damned procrastination that plagues me, and to make the best of every opportunity that arises that’ll allow me to better myself.

(I know. Sounds an awful lot like res– er, revolutions after all. But what can I say? I’m a creature of habit. :D )

Oh. And one definite resolution — this year, I promise to get all Birthday/special occasion cards/gifts sent out ON TIME. I WILL do this, if it drives me insane.

What about you?

ps. Anybody pick up and read Seeing is Believing yet? My poor, fragile artiste ego is in desperate need of a little stroking… /end blatant plug for affection :D

Blog posting nightmares! LOL — guess it comes from living in a high-tech world.

I realized that most of my “revolutions” stem from my attempt at organization and my desire to stem my procrastination. Hmmm.

Thank you for reminding me they’re out — I’m looking forward to getting them!
