(Or: This One’s For You, Rob)
I was berated (in a friendly way) last night about not blogging lately. And it is true. I’ve been writing this blog since 2005, people. That’s SEVEN YEARS. I’m actually shocked myself that it’s been going on this long. You’ve seen me single, dating, skinny, not-so-skinny, married, preggers… you name it.
So I’d like to say in my own defense that mayhaps I’m starting to run out of things to talk about. Or conversely, don’t have nearly as much time to blog on a daily basis as I once had.
C’est la vie. It certainly makes things a little tougher having Ms. Junior Peanut around taking up a lot of my time, that’s for sure. Others would say that I have plenty of time — it’s making the best use of that time that counts, and doing so would certainly allow for regular blogging. Sure. I get that. But I’m human, too. I can be tired, lazy, busy, despondent, preoccupied, etc., etc. Lots of excuses. *shrug*
So what does this mean for the future? I make no promises, folks. I’ll be here when I’m here. And thank you from the bottom of my wee heart for bothering to show up on a regular basis to see what I have to say. I do appreciate your visits (got that, Rob?) and do try to provide some small snippets of entertainment and other oddments to entice you to keep coming back. So thank you for being forgiving and understanding. I will keep you posted on writing projects as they develop, and continue being me as much as possible.
