…it must be Moscow.
Or somethin’.
Well. Howdy, gang! Long time no see, I know. We at Clan Starr just experienced the phenomenon known as “March Break” wherein Offspring get a holiday from school. So yours truly spent the past ten days playing “mom” to the best of her ability. It involved lots of cookies and board games and craft-type activities.
As well it should.
Anyhoo. School is now back in, and we should be back to our normal routine, which actually involves the use of alarm clocks. (Who’d a-thunk it?!?)
In other news, the Carina Press contract for Lovely has been signed and returned, so it looks like it’s all official.
I have my cover art and am now just waiting for the Other Editor Extraordinaire to work her magic with a line edit. The manuscript will come back to me for a review, then it’ll go for a proofread, and hopefully then — ta da! — it’ll be ready to go to publication! My task for this week, however, is to tackle the revisions First Editor Extraordinaire requested for Higher Learning. Shouldn’t take me more than a day or two to do them. Most changes are minor, with the exception of one change that will require a little bit of surgery. But completely doable.
Finally, in embryonic news, Junior Peanut continues to play the role of Mohammed Ali in my uterus. But I’m not complaining, because that means she’s active and reminding me frequently of her existence. *snort* (Like I’d forget.)
Anyway. Thanks for swinging by over the last few days even though I’ve been pretty quiet. (I can see you, you know!) I’m sure I’ll come up with some things to regale you with as the days go on. No promises, though.
