I’m posting this early, as I won’t be near a computer New Year’s Eve — so I’m wishing all of you, Dear Readers, the happiest, healthiest and most prosperous new year ever! May 2007 bring you your heart’s every desire!

Someone once told me that the way you spend your New Year’s will influence the coming year. I plan to be imbibing freely, and spending some quality time …heh… with The Boy. I wonder if that means the coming year will be full of booze and general naughtiness…?

I can’t decide whether to feel guilty or turned on.

And as you can tell from this post title, it sucks. Bah. The problem is, I’m not even sure where I’m going yet. And I don’t like it.

In other news, Christmas shopping is mostly done. Next week is filling up with Stuff To Do, and then before we all know it, it’ll be Christmas Eve.

And then it’s the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Did I already say I was looking forward to that week? I did? Well, too bad, ’cause I’m saying it again.

I’m also trying to convince my cousins to do a dip in the lake on Boxing Day (the 26th, for those who don’t have the holiday) — we go to a relative’s place for the day, where the brave can have a sauna and jump into the lake via the hole in the ice (it’s not deep — at most, mid-thigh). I’ve done it before, just not for a few years. And I think it might be time to do it again. I will keep you posted on that. *And* I might post a picture, if I can get a good one. But I’m not making any promises.

Yes, I know. We Finns are kinda crazy.

Anyway. I hadn’t intended to blather on so long. It’s late, and I must hie myself to bed. The weekend is looking a tad busy, so I must stay on top of things.
